About The Charity
SRVS Kids & Families provides family-centered programs and services that address the unique abilities and challenges of young children with special needs from birth to age 12. Believing parents are the best teachers for their children, the overall goal of SRVS Kids & Families is to enhance a family’s knowledge and understanding, and equip them with strategies and techniques to bring their child to his or her full potential.
Started in 1986 by a group of parents of children with special needs, Special Kids & Families has served more than 2,000 children with disabilities. On July 1, 2014, Special Kids & Families merged with SRVS to create SRVS Kids & Families. With an annual enrollment of approximately 140 children, SRVS Kids & Families continues to be committed to empowering children with disabilities and their families.
